BIOGRAPHY/Entrance Music

-Life in wrestling began for Calvin Bateman when he was given the chance to become an Investor of TXW. As a life long fan of wrestling he couldn't resist when the chance presented itself. It also helped the company kickstarted life in New York City, the home of Bateman. Later things would turn as soon he became tired of the way the show was run. To him it wasn't the same wrestling he grew up loving, it was a place that would never be taken seriously. It made him use his money to bring in Michelle Wright and Jason White, two decisions that would come back to bite him. They bit him when he started a war with Josh Nightmare for control of TXW. It ended with his defeat with those two he signed mostly his thorn in his side. The Investor, as he called himself , was driven from the company he helped invest.

Later it turned out Brian White was the man behind the company. While the Investment helped, it wasn't needed for the company's survival as White had plenty to keep it running through Toronto. Calvin did return under the Reaper name, wanting revenge on all those who had wronged him. Michelle was his main target because during his days as the Investor, she was his biggest ally, his girlfriend. The relationship went sour when Michelle quietly disagreed with how he chose to treat her ex Jason White amongst others. She damaged him in a farewell shot which led him to wear a mask and take the Reaper name to begin with.

All in all this didn't work out as he ended up leaving TXW again when he lost to Michelle. This time he was betrayed by his then girlfriend Becca Nightingale who found herself conflicted as she wanted to get back on good terms with her twin brother Josh. A very sad day for Calvin Bateman but not so much for the rest of TXW.

In 2016 he returned again, this time revealing that he had been back with Becca for a long time. Her firing at the time pushed her further into his arms and they secretly got married. The fired up Rebecca soon dropped the Nightingale name, choosing to adopt the Bateman name. Together they aligned themselves with Lucas Prodigy who they helped become Xtreme Champion. The Reapers will grow as time goes by but for now it's just the beginning.

In June they recruited more members to the cause when Andy Parker, Tyrone Marshall and Raine joined them. However Hansom, a long time ally of Calvin was booted out for his comments made previously. It still makes the Reapers the biggest group in TXW.

This however never lasted as slowly the group fell apart and they eventually lost at War Games. From there things got personal between Pierce and Calvin, leading to the Reaper being defeated. He finally left TXW for good and it seemed his life in wrestling was over for good. It got worse when his own wife turned her back on him as Rebecca wanted to go back to being a free Nightingale

Instead of it being over he ended up meeting Diane Murphy through a mutual friend and the two instantly fell for one another. Probably due to their many riches. The two worked together across federations into they found UWR, a stand out amongst the others. Calvin signed a deal with UWR in the middle of 2017 and will be by the side of his beautiful girlfriend while he tries to restore his reputation.


Entrance

'Scars' hits as Calvin Bateman walks down the stairs in the arena, going down towards the ring. The only sign of light is the spotlight on him as he walks closer to the barricade. Once he reaches it he jumps over it. Once he is on the other side he takes his time and looks side to side, reacting to the noise the fans make. He lifts his hands up just feeding off the noise as he knew they have hated him since the beginning. Shortly after he jumps on the apron, goes along the outside while holding onto the rope. He goes from one end to the other getting into the ring only once he has reached the end. The Reaper goes over the top rope, stands in the middle of the ring and raises his fists in the air.
