OPENING MATCH
Salman Van Dam vs Denzel Brown
Stipulation: Standard
Result: The opening of RC saw the return of SVD, the Hardcore Icon. He didn't have the most m memorable of times in TXW the last time he was here, so a win would be a great way to reintroduce himself. Problem is he came up against a hungry Denzel who has struggled since his return to the company. In the opening few minutes he showed his aggression and dominated the Icon. If he hadn't already established himself as a heel this is just further proof he isn't one of the people. The Dentist managed to lock SVD in the rear naked choke which looked to have ended the match as he began to fade.

Only the fans cheers managed to give him that little bit extra to escape the hold as he just fought his way back to his feet. Denzel is pretty stunned, so much so he loses the momentum as the Icon regains control of the match. In the end SVD got him on his shoulders and hit The Icon Bomb aka GTS into a Codebreaker. It was a unique version of the GTS and led to the three as the Dentist was unable to kick out. What a return for SVD!

SECOND MATCH
Charlene Layne vs Foxy Roxy
Stipulation: Standard
Result: Black Xmas wasn't the best of moments for Charlene, so she had something to prove here on RC. Only thing is she came up against a hungry Foxy Roxy, who has had an indifferent start to life in TXW. It seemed she had won over some of the fans yet her time teaming with her big brother Tyrone had brought out some aggression. That aggression was seen in her promo but also in this match as she really took it to the blonde in the opening few minutes. It led her to get several near falls and eventually the girlfriend of Matthew Taylor was knocked out the ring.

The fans weren't appreciating this as they chant for Charlene to try to fight her way back into this one. The noise helped as she did get back in and eventually found a way back into the match. Foxy was rocked which leads her to being hit with a leg drop, the signature of Charlene. It looked to have set up the finish as the blonde drags her up to set up a powerbomb. Instead of it being hit Foxy drops down and gets in a strong punch to the gut. She positions herself behind the rookie just so she can hit the double knee backbreaker transitioned right into the bridging Crossface aka Rock Off! It gave Taylor's girl no choice but to tap out to secure the win for the Foxy one. This new aggression has given her an edge and it's also given her a much needed win here on RC.

THIRD MATCH
Scarlet De Luca vs Madison Wright
Stipulation: Standard
Result: Next up we saw two lovers of parties and dance compete against one another. During the build up Madison changed her ring name to Madison Lyric as she looked to set her own path, not connected to either of her sisters. It starts here as she is up against a debutant in Scarlet De Luca.

The match starts pretty even as Madison isn't exactly a veteran despite being around the business for a long time. She hasn't had any memorable moments of her own and will look to change that right here. A roll up early on almost gets her the win. It kept going back and forth with neither really gaining an upper hand.

In the end Scarlet was able to hit the Lights Out aka Sit out Face buster to secure herself the three count. It was a tough blow for Madison who is yet to stand out that much on her own. Scarlet did help her up and showed respect as the two seemed to have found a way to become friends. However this moment didn't last long as Larissa sneaks out and then attacks them both. She locks Madison in the Die Bitch Die aka Triangle Choke, causing Lyric to pass out. Right after the unwarranted attack, Larissa declares herself as the queen of RC and would now be taking over.

PRE MAIN EVENT
Frank Stone vs Hansom
Stipulation: Standard
Result: The fall between members of the President's Cabinet minus Dean Creed has been clear to all. Two members of that team have to square off as Hansom battled it out with Frank Stone, both determined for a win. As expected the juggernauts gave everything they had as it descended into a big brawl.  The two men ended up outside the ring, trying to rip the others head off.

In the end an appearance by Deric Quake turned the tide which led to a victory for Frank Stone, who hit his knockout combo of punches aka Stoned To Death. It came at a shock to those watching as it appears the prophet is still aligned with his former boss. The dominate force looks the way of Deric who sat on his knees on the stage, praising those he worships as we might be seeing the beginning of a deadly alliance.

MAIN EVENT
Melissa Wright vs Hope Sweet (c)
Stipulation: Hardcore Match / Hardcore title
Result: To main event the show we see the Hardcore title up for grabs as Melissa Wright steps up as the surprising next challenger. Many expected the Texan to go right back after the Women's title. Instead she seems to be exploring new territory and toughening herself up. This is the ultimate way to do that. Hope welcomed the challenge and has her fun in the opening. There is no shirt pulling or cat fighting here as the champion gives Melissa a lesson by throwing her out the ring, throwing her against the barricade and the stairs. A steel chair is then introduced which was used against Melissa's back a couple times. A shot to the head later looked to have ended it, only for the Butterfly to show that Wright fighting spirit by getting a shoulder up at a two and a half.

Hope seemed to just enjoy that but she got Melissa to fight back as the Texan isn't a push over. She got violent herself including the moment Melissa hit Hope enough to leave her laid out on the announcers table. The Butterfly went on the apron and jumped off, landing right on Hope. The table didn't break either which made it more painful for the champion.

It went on a few minutes like that with the ending coming when Hope had a ladder. It ended up being super kicked right in her face as she tried to charge with it towards Melissa. The challenger then pushes down on the ladder as it sat on top of Hope, pinning her down as the referee ends up counting the three to give the Texan her first Hardcore Championship.
