LOCATION: Toronto, Canada [TXW Arena]
DATE: Monday 1st July 2019
GENERAL MANAGERS: Tyler York & Mike Hawk
THEME: "Scars" By In The Verse

OPENING SEGMENT

Outcome: "Scars" hits as TXW is back in Toronto for a very special Canada Day edition. To start fireworks are set off outside as some fans have gathered outside to see the special display. It's going to be a wild night as the path to Summer Mayhem begins.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

OPENING MATCH
Lauren Li vs Aiden Calderwood
Stipulation: Singles
Result: The kick off for the show was meant to see Lauren Li go up against Aiden Calderwood in her return from injury. However after Aiden made his entrance, Eddie McGinlay walked out with the Beasts. There is no sign of Lauren at all which clearly needed to be explained. The Scot did explain saying how he didn't feel Lauren was deserving of finishing off the pathetic Aiden on Canada Day of all days. He then instead declared that he would be competing against him instead. Despite his dominance, Aiden wasn't about to back down not at all.

When this one got started he went on the attack, going after that bandaged up knee. It wasn't really mentioned that the 'Glasgow Monster' had injured his knee when delivering an end to Matthew Taylor, but he id. The tactic of course after it is wise, or it seemed to be wise. Instead it just angered the big Glaswegian and he starts to get more vicious with 'The Clairvoyant'. In the end he set up and hit the Tartan Tomb [Tombstone] to win the match.

After the bell Eddie asked his fellow beasts to finish off Aiden for good. They were clearly planning too into Lauren rushes out to plead for them not to do what they plan to do. Eddie ends up giving into the pleas as they throw out Aiden like trash. It seemed their new pet is making a mark on them, into Eddie grabs her puts her in the Tartan Tomb position and drops her on her head. After the Legacy champion looked disappointed at Slaughter, who was also disappointed. He then lifts her up, about to choke the life out of her when out runs Dean Creed. He surprisingly gets cheered, even if he too ended up being a victim to the Beasts, laid out with a double chokeslam by Slaughter and Wrath.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Outcome: The Beasts are asked shortly after what message they have since Eddie said so on Twitter. The Scot didn't have anything to say, instead he walks on about to plan out what message they have. Who is it for? We'll find out before the show is over with.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

SECOND MATCH
Jacob Williams w/ Aubrey Hudson vs Raine w/ Chloe Middleton
Stipulation: Singles
Result: Next up the holder of the World title shot was in action against Raine. 'The Crimson Curse' was accompanied by Chloe but none of the other Justice Bringers were present. It didn't help with the rumours that the group have disbanded after their defeats at Immortality. Here Raine aimed to put down the possible contender and put herself back on the map. It started well with her showing exactly why she held multiple times for record breaking lengths. She seemed extra fired up here and even busted Jacob open, leading to a worried look from Aubrey on the outside.

Unfortunately it didn't work out for her as a miscommunication between Chloe and Raine allowed Jacob to hit the Cash Out [Vertebreaker] on her to secure another big win. While he left with a smile on his face, Raine is furious. 'The Know It All' gets in the ring, attempting to help her back to her feet. Raine suddenly attacks her, takes the dagger back off her then slides it across the Brit's back to leave her in agony.

'The Crimson Curse' continues to beat down on her so called ally and seems to have been motivated to do things on her own. The Justice Bringers now seem to officially be over with.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Outcome: Earlier in the day a barbeque was filmed just outside the arena as they celebrated Canada Day. Chef Marvin is cooking burgers for everyone and no they are not rat burgers. Out there is also the 'Badass' Josh, his wife Rachel and some other members of the roster. A lot who are not even competing on the show here tonight. All of a sudden the celebrations are changed up when Mike Malice, Gage Steel and Tara Malice all turn up. Their target is Roxanne, the holder of the Badass Championship. She is rolled up while she is eating a hot dog and held down for the 5 count by Gage Steel. It meant he now has the championship. After Chef Marvin helped her off as the attackers ran off with the title.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

THIRD MATCH
Angelique w/ FAB & Frank Stone  vs Rosemary Price w/ Calvin Bateman
Stipulation: Punishment Match

Result: The fans votes were now being counted as the next match is a punishment match. The winning vote turned out to be an evening gown match where the loser gets a bare ass spanking from the winner. This wouldn't be ideal for either of the 'rookies' of TXW.

In the match itself, it was mostly controlled by a FAB backed Angelique. She did after all defeat Kelly Nightingale and seemed have more experience when it came to who she was trained by. Rosemary had only picked things up from Calvin, who in turn isn't the most experienced wrestler ever.

'Miss Reaper' did fight back and almost tore off Angelique's gown, but just wasn't able to get it off her to win the match. Instead an eye poke was all it took to allow the blonde to knock down Rosemary and lock her in the crippler crossface aka Judgment. 'The Reaper' had to helpless watch as his girlfriend struggled to get out of the hold and screamed in pain. In the end she passes out which left her easy pickings. Angelique tore off Rosemary's gown to win the match and bounce back from her Immortality disappointment. Following that up she is about to put Rosemary over her knee then give her the bare ass spanking. Only Calvin got in the ring in an attempt to stop it from happening. His 'reward' is to be attacked by Frank, a former ally. The FAB girls also get some kicks in as they really hurt 'The Reaper' for daring to try and save his girlfriend's modesty.

The only surprise is that Vincent Underwood and Blair Black rush out to even the odds, which eventually makes the group retreat. Blair seemed happy about saving her new friends, as did Vincent as all of the Fine Ass Bitches are pissed even in victory.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Outcome: We get a replay of what happened earlier today, when Roxanne lost her Badass championship. The Malice's and Gage Steel are still bragging about it backstage as once again they have some gold. Not that the bragging helped as soon Roxanne went back on the attack, with some help from Chef Marvin. Marvin clotheslines down both Mike and Tara. Roxanne then went on the attack on Gage, getting the best of him before pinning him down for the 5 count to regain the Badass title.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

FOURTH MATCH
Ciara Fierce (C) W/ J.T Marshall  vs Isaiah Thorne
Stipulation: Singles / Global championship

Result: Up next Ciara put her championship on the line against Isaiah Thorne, the returning former TWO time Global champion. He looked to join Jacob Williams in the history books as a three time champion. It looked like it was on the cards very early on as his time away has only improved him.

The Irish ass kicker struggled for a time, dealing with a very different opponent than Chloe Middleton. She got knocked out the ring at some point, allowing J.T to have a word with her. Isaiah did follow her out, only for the champion to fight back with pure aggression. While it is good to see the fight, neither was keeping tabs on what the count was at. It meant the referee counts them both out while on the outside, denying both the victory with a count out draw being the result. Even the sound of the bell didn't stop them fighting as the referee had to get in the middle of them. A disappointing end to a title match but likely a beginning of a new feud.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Outcome: Isaiah and Ciara are arguing backstage about how the Global title match ended. Mike Hawk is there to sort it all out as he makes a title match for Summer Mayhem at the end of the month where disqualification and count out won't come into play.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

FIFTH MATCH
Emilia Pruzzi (C) W/ Scarlet De Luca vs Diamond Jackson W/ FAB & Frank Stone
Stipulation: Singles / Women's championship

Result: FAB looked to get back the title up next as Diamond Jackson challenged Emilia for the title, a title she just lost at Immortality. Diamond showed an aggression here, looking to do some damage to the Italian. She controlled most of the match and pleased her boyfriend Frank with the no mercy approach. At one point Emilia is even dropped on her head for a nasty suplex. Rome's Rose kept on struggling and her title reign looked in danger. It didn't help either when Angelique and Diane decided to attack Scarlet on the outside. Diamond set up her finish The Diamond Edge [Lifting Underhook Sitout Facebuster], only Emilia found her way out of it then rolls up the surprised challenger. It got her the three count and helped her retain the title.

The group are not pleased with that, especially following up what happened earlier in the night. Diamond aggressively attacks Emilia right after the bell. She hits her with the Diamond's Edge and is then joined in the ring by the rest of FAB. They all attack her and do damage to the champion. There is no sign of Blair Black this time as Emilia isn't her friend. The Italian stubbornly kept trying to get up but is booted right in the face when she does.

More damage is about to be done, when the Beasts suddenly make their way out. When Frank sees them, even he advises the girls to get out of harms way. They did, happy this time at the damage done to the women's champion. Eddie sents Wrath into the ring and the big man drags Emilia out, puts her over his shoulder and carries her backstage. Scarlet is back up and she attempts to help her friend, only for Eddie to boot her in the face. He then picks her up and they seem to be taking both of them now. This is never a good thing, especially with Slaughter around. Khaos did note that even for the beasts this is a risky move , especially knowing who Emilia is going out with.

Re:Dark Oasis #84 [Canada Day Edition]

Date Posted:05/04/2021 10:23 PMCopy HTML

LOCATION: Toronto, Canada [TXW Arena]
DATE: Monday 1st July 2019
GENERAL MANAGERS: Tyler York & Mike Hawk
THEME: "Scars" By In The Verse

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Outcome: Backstage the Beasts are taking the Italians away, likely going to break them in every way possible. Tyler York and security confronts them however as he pleads with them not to take either of them. Eddie shook his head as he had planned to sent his message, stating as Emilia as important to his plan. It left the GM pleading for Scarlet De Luca, suggesting she has nothing to do with his plan. He even promises to give him whatever he wants if he lets her go. Eddie nods at Wrath, who drops Scarlet on the ground. They then push past security and leave with Emilia as Tyler looks nervous. This is a dangerous move, a very dangerous move.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

SIXTH MATCH

Denzel Brown vs Ashley Ricci
Stipulation: Punishment / Ashley's Legacy title briefcase on the line
Result: The sixth match of the show saw Denzel Brown go up against Ashley Ricci once again. The last time these two fought one on one, Denzel won. Winning here will mean he gets the Legacy title briefcase while losing means he has to tell Ashley she is the best, all because of the fan vote. Things began with Ashley frustrating Denzel, as she is very quick in the ring. At one point she took 'The Revolutionist' down with a headscissors takedown. It made him roll out, only for Ash to dive out and knock him off his feet. It really got the fans excited.

All good things do come to an end however as Ashley went for too many high risk moves as she went for a thesz press from the top. Instead of hitting it she got caught onto Denzel's shoulders, who powerbombs her to the canvas.

'The Black King' backed into the corner after that, shouting at 'The Rebel' and telling her to get back to her feet. He could feel the victory in his grasp and he could see his undefeated run continuing on.

He makes his run, about to hit the move when he misses thanks to Ashley dropping to her knees at the last minute. She then kicks out Denzel's knees, eventually sending him towards the ropes. He ends up perfectly set up for the 619, which Ashley hits right after the set up. All she had to do now is springboard off the ropes and connect with the double foot stomp to likely win the match.

Ashley jumps up onto the ropes and attempts the double foot stomp, only Denzel rolls out the way. He kicks up to his feet, kicks her right in the knee and then kicks her right in the face with The Revolution Begins [Trouble In Paradise]. Cover gets made and Ashley doesn't kick out, meaning she has LOST the Legacy title briefcase!

'The Black King' is happy as he is handed the briefcase and has upgraded from his punishment contract. It's heartbreak for Ashley who once again loses something she has won at the first time of asking, even if people will question why she had to defend it to begin with.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Outcome: Ashley is being mocked over her loss by Tyler York, who says she is back where she belongs. Mike is there too and he admits he isn't a fan of biased booking, no matter what a wrestler says or does. With that in mind he suggests that if Ashley had to defend her briefcase, then so does Denzel. Tyler tried to talk him out of it, but Mike has every right to make his own matches. That's why he makes it official, even if Tyler had to say that if Ashley loses, she is in the Summer Bash once again. Seemed fair since Denzel also had to fight with a risk to win the briefcase. 'The Rebel' smirked at her opportunity, even if she has lost the last TWO times to the undefeated Denzel. This could be good but it could also be bad. Ashley won't want to be in the Summer Bash again as thats where she was last year. At least if she does end in that match, she'll be accompanied by her boyfriend Tyrone, who will enter it this year due to the fan vote. That's unless he can win the World title later in his rematch.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

PRE MAIN EVENT
Chris Slaughter & Wrath (C) vs Gabriel Hunter & Kry w/ Nick Gallagher
Stipulation: Tag Team Match / Tag Team Titles
Result: Next on Dark Oasis the tag team titles are on the line as the Beasts will take on Gabriel Hunter and Kry of the new formed Kingdom. All eyes were on the beasts once they made their entrance, especially after what happened earlier on in the night. No sign of Eddie as he decided not to accompany the new champions, instead they would battle it alone against the forces of Kingdom.

Slaughter started it out against Kry, who wanted to prove herself after recent losses in the women's division. Now she is back fighting it out with men, attempting to win another championship. Only she is out her element against someone the size of Slaughter, who throws her around for a good few minutes. This is a more focused Slaughter and far more dangerous. He is the one responsible for what happened to Lauren, how she hasn't been the same since he kidnapped her at the end of last year. It seemed like she would be the beasts slave but they dropped her earlier on in the show, while also taking out Creed and Calderwood. Kry managed to give some fight back, enough to tag in Gabriel Hunter.

'The Hooligan' was crazy enough to headbutt Slaughter in the chest, winding the big man. It is the best moment of the match for the newly formed Kingdom. Even the fans got behind the usual heel team, mostly because the Beasts are so much worse than Kingdom ever have been.

Eventually Wrath was tagged in and Gabriel had trouble due to the size differences. In the end the fight is beaten out of Gabriel and Kry is knocked off the apron. It allowed the Beasts to set up and double chokeslam down Gabriel, leading to the three count
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Outcome: Kingdom's return has been unsuccessful, leading to some harsh words from Nick who wanted to carry on Khaos' legacy. Losing on their official night back, even against the beasts, ruined them from the get go. Nick says he will now take over as leader and he'll decide who is in the group. He tells Gabriel and Kry they are not in, into they have proved themselves.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

MAIN EVENT
Pierce Kingsley (C) vs Tyrone Marshall
Stipulation: Singles / World Championship
Result: The main event was next on the show as Tyrone Marshall used his rematch after months of waiting. He had decided against using his automatic rematch due to the fact he wanted to earn the shot another way. Instead he lost out every chance he got, including getting a punishment contract in the Xtreme Lottery. 'The Bull' is too proud to be reduced to making up the numbers.

You could tell he is up for the fight by the way he goes on the attack from the bell, determined to get the title back. If he did manage to win it in this main event, he'd join Pierce in the record books as a THREE time champion.

He almost got it done within minutes as he hit the Seeing Red [Punch Onslaught / Superman Punch] that rocked the hell out of Pierce. It didn't manage to get him the win , which was to be expected. Never forget what Pierce Kingsley has been doing in recent months, his obsession over the title said it all and all those he has injured says it all also.

Tyrone isn't afraid of pushing Pierce into that dark place and forcing him to become another victim, he gave his all and really wanted the title back. He needed it to revive him after six months of doing nothing special. The last thing he wanted is for a bad year after his best year in 2018.

Unfortunately for him Pierce started to show why he has gone up a level, a level even Tyrone is below at the moment. He bested him in a fist fight and at one point they were outside the ring, meaning Tyrone got slammed right into the ring post at one point. It sure did damage Tyrone and likely have him a concussion as he couldn't get back into the fight after this. The fans are left disappointed as despite a late rally, Tyrone is hit with a Say10 Spike [Pop Up Knee Backbreaker], enough to pin down Tyrone's shoulders down for three.

It gave Pierce Kingsley the retain he wants and finally put everything involving 'The Bull' in the rear view mirror, at least into Tyrone can lift himself back up another level. He's clearly taken steps back over the last six months. The show looked to be closing when Pierce sees Eddie on screen, he had Emilia standing up and has his hands on her throat. Clearly he had hit her over the head as she had a cut on her head and he decides to run his hand over her face while holding her. The Scot then says Pierce Kingsley is a fellow monster and admits there is only room for one of them at the top. He also says there is one difference between them, Kingsley has a heart. 'The Scot' then says he'll be keeping Emilia company into he gets Pierce go give him what he wants, a shot at the World championship at Summer Mayhem. Into he is the one to give it to him, 'His girl' will be in the company of Beasts. Dark Oasis ends as Pierce Kingsley has a look that can kill, have the Beasts targeted the wrong man?
